All plug-ins that are not made by Apple are not checked. So, Logic now sees the plug-ins, it just refuses to validate any of them. So, I opened Logic in 64-bit and it did an AU scan. Is there anyone who can help me sort this out? I'm on a deadline and this is really screwing me big-time. The only plug-ins I can see are Apple based. Now, I have a NEW problem, which is that on startup, Logic reads through all of the plug-ins I've installed, NONE of them show up in the program (including Logic). So, I tried all kinds of things: repairing permissions, using an older version of Kontakt, trashed preferences, I even uninstalled Logic and completely re-installed it. Then Logic wouldn't validate Kontakt on startup. So I attempted to upgrade to the newest version of Kontakt. It seemed that Kontakt would only open natively in Logic in 32-bit mode. I installed Kontakt 5, and was using it, although for some reason, I was running up against problems of memory running out when I was using multiple instruments. I've just re-installed Logic 9.1.8 onto my Macbook Pro 17" 2011, after my hard drive and logic board were replaced. Also wasn't a fan of the UX or the settings, everything felt more complicated than needed. So, I'm in a real mess, and I need help bad. I understand, but don't like their choice of not supporting Youtube accounts. I tried using NewPipe on an Android phone for a while, and concluded I wasn't in their target demographic. SmartTubeNext is one of the few projects I'm actually considering donating money to. The only thing missing I can think of is the lack of comments, that might be a negative point for some people.Īlso I didn't personally interact with the developer but he seems like a very nice person, very invested in his project, even if some of the feedback he gets is thankless. It's basically an improved version of the official app. Everything works (you can even use Chromecast from the official Youtube app on your phone directly to SmartTubeNext), you can customize it enough (show/hide relevant sections, default section on launch, shod hide shorts, color theme, SponsorBlock) and the features that I care about are supported. I haven't used NewPipe on Android TV so cannot compare, but the user experience of SmartTubeNext is top notch.
